About & Affiliate Disclosure

Our mission

We started PokemonCardProfit because the existing resources were either YouTube hype merchants, gatekeeping Discord servers, or walls of banner ads with no actual information behind them. The hobby deserves better.

Our promise: every guide on this site is written from real experience, with real numbers, and updated when those numbers change. If we haven’t actually done something, we don’t write about it.

How we work

The site is maintained by a small team of collectors who have been actively buying, grading, and selling Pokémon cards for between four and fifteen years each. We’re not financial advisors. We’re not a grading company. We don’t run auctions or take commissions on sales.

What we do: test strategies, run the numbers, write up what works, and update our tools and tables weekly based on current market data.

Editorial independence

No brand, grader, proxy service, or marketplace has ever paid us to feature them. Nothing on this site is sponsored content. If we recommend a product, it’s because we use it ourselves or have meaningfully tested it.

Affiliate disclosure

We participate in the Amazon Associates program and other affiliate programs. When you click an affiliate link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This is at no extra cost to you, and does not affect the price you pay.

We only recommend products we personally use or have tested. Affiliate revenue funds the ongoing cost of keeping the tools free, hosting the site, and updating the data tables. It does not buy placement in our guides.

This is not financial advice

Pokémon cards are collectibles. Their market value can and does fluctuate, sometimes dramatically. Nothing on this site is financial or investment advice. The strategies described carry real risk of loss — including total loss — and past performance is not an indicator of future results.
