GET THE NUMBERS RIGHT
1. Use sold comps, not asking prices. Search eBay for the exact card + grade, filter by “Sold listings,” take the 30-day average.
2. Be honest about probabilities. If you see any whitening on the card under a loupe, your PSA 10 probability is 10%, not 25%.
3. The verdict is probabilistic, not certain. A positive expected value means on average this submission makes money.
4. Include all the fees. Sales platform fees + outbound shipping + inbound shipping + grading fee + the card itself.
